Love the fit, drape of these jeans. Definitely a heavy fabric so not really a summer jean. Sizing note: jeans at BR and Gap have run small for about 2 years now. My old size 29 jeans from BR are side by side the same size as a size 30 from BR now. So just keep that in mine when you purchase, you mig...ht be sizing up even if you haven't changed in size. Also I wish the lengths would be updated: a regular is too short for me, long is too long so I end up buying long and having them shortened which is an extra expense I wish I didn't have to add in.
Bought these jeans and had some from last fall that were wide as well. Banana Republic completely ruined the long length as it's barely a 33" inseam. L in e many leggy tall women I need at least a 35 " and especially with a wide leg where you want an elegant flowing look they should be long. I feel ...so sad and am shocked that Banana Republic would shorten their long so short women don't need to hem while we tall women simply cacti purchase. Please add the extra length so we can be customers. If you did it across the board as in regular and tall you wouldn't have 5'6" and 5'7" needing to buy a long length and you would also capture the taller customer as you did previously.

As a petite girl, these jeans fit perfectly, the quality just feels well made and rich, and they last a very long time without shrinkage. I love these jeans!

I was so excited when they had these on sale - and in my size! But when they arrived I tried them on and they were too small. It's so frustrating, I got a pair of BR jeans one size up and they were huge on me! The sizing seems so random. You may want to size up one size (at least that was my experience). They are beautiful jeans though - I've ordered the dark ones a size up so fingers crossed. And I have to say BR has excellent customer service - it's why I keep coming back.

Flattering fit through the waist and hips. Effortless look that can be dressed up or down. I am 5'9" and got the tall so I can cuff them (very rarely a problem for me to have pants that are too long...). Modern and classic. I love them.

Love the jeans. Great style. These jeans are high rise. Length seems good. I will hang to dry as I do not want them shrinking in length. I ordered 28 in both brown and faded black. Brown color was tight and I'll be returning. The faded black color fit great (a little loose actually)! BR pant sizing is off and very inconsistent. Whatever I normally wear, I can't trust their pant sizing. It's annoying because I end up having to return most of my orders!

I am tall with long legs and a bit of an apple shape. They were exactly the right length for flats (I have a 34 in inseam) These made me feel so trim and beautiful. The weight of the denim reminds me of the classic jeans I used to get as a kid. Substantial and stiff, in the way that good leather is stiff until you wear it and it fits to your body. I have high hopes that it will be a good investment.

First time trying these and they are perfect. Denim is not too heavy and not too light. Great cut and the fit is really good. I like that they are flared but not overly flared. Again perfect. The reg. length is good for me to wear a 2 to 3 inch heel with on my 5' 4 in. frame. These are so comfortable with just the right amount of stretch so looking forward to purchasing more colours.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I usually love BR denim. I purchased these in store and loved the fit, structure, and wash of these jeans. Unfortunately, they are unwearable after the first time I washed them on a cold delicate cycle, and hung to dry. The dye faded in random areas. I understand that dark wash denim is typically more sensitive, hence the cold wash. I've never had this happen before. I am so bummed because I searched all over for the perfect dark pair of denim wide leg jeans!
