I'm gonna start by saying these are beautiful. Construction is good, far better than any jeans from the other brands in the GAP family. The fabric is substantial and beautifully structured. However, my gosh do these stretch. My pair fit perfectly at first, with just a hint of slouch. Now, a few week...s in, they stretched so much that they're a good two sizes too big and won't stay up. I genuinely look like a hip hop artist from the 2000s. I feel like the look went from "cool chic" to "wearing my dad's clothes". So bummed.
I purchased 3 pairs because I've never tried BR jeans before. 30 Long Dark Wash, 31 Long Medium Wash, 30 Regular Dark Wash. Fortunately, I tried the 30 long first. And they fit great. Maybe I could go to a 29, but they are supposed to fit loose, so I'll work with that. The 30 regular were ridiculou...sly short. And the 31 Long were at least 4 inches bigger around the waist than the 30. Buyer beware. The 31 Long should have fit just slightly larger. I laid one on top of the other, and there was a clear inch of fabric on either side. Which explains why they were almost 4 inches larger around the waist. The size difference was ridiculous. I'm just getting into BR clothes, but they really need to get the sizing consistent.

Favourite new style of jeans. Wider leg styles overwhelm me but this cut is great. Super comfortable too and a heavier weight of denim which I love. I usually am a size 26 but I sized down to a 25 so that they fit better and don't appear too relaxed and look more professional as I work in a creative industry and can wear them to work.

bananarepublic.gap.com/Looks good. But it's soo heavy! I haven't bought a pair of jeans from BR in a long time, so I'm thankful for the good quality! I wish it listed weight under "size and fit"

Love these jeans. I am 5.4 and they are perfect length for me. I did have to size down. It's sturdy denim that keeps shape.

bananarepublic.gap.com/This is my second pair of these jeans. Fit of Medium Gray Wash is slightly looser, fabric is slightly lighter in weight, but otherwise the same excellent style and construction as my first pair in Ecru. The cut is perfect for my long rise - both pairs rest comfortably at top of my hips without sliding down as mid-or-low rise usually do, eliminating waist gap or the uncomfortable sense that your jeans are falling off. As some reviewers mention, they stretch a bit with wearing but not excessively. Tailored fit from top to bottom of hip contrasts nicely with loose legs for a modern twist on retro style. I don't need another pair of jeans but am considering a third pair in Medium Wash - these jeans are laid-back fashion, easy to wear, to dress up or down, made of quality denim that will be in my closet for years.

They appear in the ad to have a normal straight leg, but they are incredibly baggy through the legs. I needed to downsize but didn't have the time. Not sure if going from a 14 to a 12 would've made any difference in the leg width. Don't get fooled by this picture, but I would buy them again now that I am aware of what I'm getting.

I love the look and feel of these Jeans. I think they wear really well. They are fabric and stitchibg is far sturdier than some other brands. But they are still soft. I found they are slightly bigger. So if your are looking for a tighter fit. Might be worth sizing down.
