I'm gonna start by saying these are beautiful. Construction is good, far better than any jeans from the other brands in the GAP family. The fabric is substantial and beautifully structured. However, my gosh do these stretch. My pair fit perfectly at first, with just a hint of slouch. Now, a few week...s in, they stretched so much that they're a good two sizes too big and won't stay up. I genuinely look like a hip hop artist from the 2000s. I feel like the look went from "cool chic" to "wearing my dad's clothes". So bummed.
I purchased 3 pairs because I've never tried BR jeans before. 30 Long Dark Wash, 31 Long Medium Wash, 30 Regular Dark Wash. Fortunately, I tried the 30 long first. And they fit great. Maybe I could go to a 29, but they are supposed to fit loose, so I'll work with that. The 30 regular were ridiculou...sly short. And the 31 Long were at least 4 inches bigger around the waist than the 30. Buyer beware. The 31 Long should have fit just slightly larger. I laid one on top of the other, and there was a clear inch of fabric on either side. Which explains why they were almost 4 inches larger around the waist. The size difference was ridiculous. I'm just getting into BR clothes, but they really need to get the sizing consistent.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I have been wanting a pair of ecru jeans and was hoping for a little street style and sight taper, but the cut is SO blah. Another major issue is that they are high rise and one full size too large. Fabric is mid weight. I am 5'3 125lbs and purchased my usual size 27/4 petite.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I am 5'3 125 pounds and bottom heavy, and while my typical size 27/4 Petite was correct, they had a BAD waist gap and an unflattering, pancaking backside with large, wide set rear pockets. Almost like a mens jean. Have had this issue with BR jeans since the 90s, and these are no exception. When will i learn? Probably good for "apple" or "pencil" shaped bodies.

Color more yellow in person. I wanted an off white color jean and thought these were it but they were a little too yellow than I wanted. Fit and quality are ok. Denim is thick but comfortable. I'm 5 feet and 100 pounds and the size 25 Petite fit me but slightly loose.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I am 5' 5" and 120 pounds with a short waist and longish legs. I am trying to decide between the 25 and 26 in medium wash. Both look great. The 26 is just a bit baggier in the leg and does have a slight gap in the waistband but because this is such a heavy denim, they "slouch" better in this bigger size and feel more comfortable. The 25's are more polished looking and fit perfectly in the waist, not too baggy in the leg, but feel so stiff and structured. These jeans are definitely on the wider leg side of "straight." They feel like high quality jeans. I'm ordering them in the light wash to compare. Maybe the light wash won't be as stiff.

Overall really like them. The wash is very 90s and the denim is soft. They fit more like a wide leg than a straight leg, it I still liked them. Size down.

bananarepublic.gap.com/this is my second pair from the 90s loose version. I got it in the medium gray wash. The fabric is a little bit in between mid to heavyweight and the only thing I would complain about is that it is definitely not midrise. I would say it's closer to high waist you can still get away with it though if it fits you just right at the waist.

One of the best fitting jeans I have purchased in a long time. They are a perfect pair of jeans. Just loose enough to not overpower my petite frame and the color is a beautiful grey. I quickly bought another pair.
