I loved this in navy so much I decided to order it in green stripe. Unfortunately, the stripes are unflattering (on me at least). I think it's partly because the colored stripes are too thick and partly because the shoulder seams extend past the shoulders. Usually I like a generous shoulder, but my J.Crew striped top has set-in shoulders, and they are more flattering with the stripes. It's possible this could look good on someone with narrower shoulders, but honestly the stripes don't look great on the models either.

Nice and thick material, nothing flimsy about this shirt. It's definitely oversized. I normally wear a medium in standard fit but sized down to small and could potentially have gone to XS.

I have a "marinière" from J. Crew but this one is even nicer! I appreciate that the sleeves are full length and the hem tape is a classy touch. The only thing is that it is a roomier fit and thicker fabric so doesn't work with many of my cardigans.

VERY relaxed indeed. The torso is extremely wide - too wide. I ordered a small instead of my usual size M. The material is very nice - a heavier cotton jersey. I really wanted to keep it - but just too wide in the torso and boxy. I recommend ordering a smaller size. BTW, I am 5' 6" and 135 pounds – athletic build.

I like this relaxed cotton boat neck top because it is made from a thick cotton material. It washed nicely and did not wrinkle. I usually order my tops in medium, but I ordered a small because I didn't want it to be too baggy. It was the perfect fit for me. The navy color was a nice deep blue. I was very pleased with this top. The construction of the top was well made.

I'm always on the lookout for flattering 100% cotton shirts (so many are frumpy crewnecks!). I am tall with broad shoulders so used to be a medium even tho size 6 pants but due to size inflation am now often a small, and the small in this fit quite generously but was still flattering, even when not tucked. (In contrast, the medium in the ultra-fine cotton v-neck fits me snugly.) Somehow the fabric, though stiff, comes in at all the right places on the sleeves and along the body. The navy is a deep true navy and very elegant. Highly recommended!

This top is beautiful. It's made with heavy weight jersey (typical of a traditional mariner shirt) and has a boxy cut. I am typically a size medium but went with a large as I wanted a bit of an oversized fit. The sleeves are a bit long for me, but I tend to fold them up anyway. The top is perfect for all seasons, but especially winter.
