This dress is flattering on any body and the vibrant green pattern reminds me of Klimt paintings. I'm 5.3" and 110 lbs. SX Petite was too short, hitting high ankle. XS regular just touches the ankle bone. It doesn't go to the floor like in pictures. Another downside - the underlayer in polyester is ...disappointing, wish it was in viscose or another natural material. Sleeves are long and I like it.
The dress itself is lovely, but fits much larger than anticipated. I'll be exchanging for a size down. Ideally it would be available in a tall as well. I'm 5'10 and the hem hits at high ankle. A few more inches in length would really complete the elegance of the silhouette.

bananarepublic.gap.com/This dress is well made and the colors are beautiful and vibrant. I am a seamstress and this dress is a really nice chiffon fabric with a slip underneath. Chiffon is not scratchy and it is a lightweight fabric that is not cheap at all. If you know fabrics, chiffon is lightweight and see through. I am 5'2 and the dress is a bit long but with higher heels, it is perfect. I am usually a medium, but ordered up a size based on reviews but I really should have ordered a Medium which would have been a perfect fit. Now BR is out of stock for a size M. I may keep it and tailor it to a size M. Beautiful dress!

bananarepublic.gap.com/this dress is very similar to the silk, bias cut dresses from a few seasons ago. however, those dresses were 100% for a similar price point, and this dress feels and looks cheap in person. additionally, BR needs to figure out the quantity for the tall sizes. talls always sell out immediately, making the garment unwearable for anyone over 5'5". it is easier to fix a garment that is too long than one that is too short.

Thus is my 3rd dress of this style. I call it "my dress ". The only unfortunate thing is that you won't be able to find it in stores to try it on. The sizes are off. I had to order 3 different sizes to find the right one. Despite the fact that I am petite, 118 pounds, the size regular small fits the best, of course, with high heels. Anyway, great dress.

In person the dress is a bit more real/blue than green and the print is more interesting than the photograph. The fit is nice but the chiffon is a little scratchy.

i love the print of this dress. looks just like the photo. i am 5'7" and 119 lb and the small fits perfect. the arms are a little long, which is fine, but this definitely isn't floor length like in the photo and as other reviewers have posted. this hits at my ankles. i wish it went all the way to the floor. i will say the quality isn't that great. i think BR is quality and this is more of a Free People dress. it was also packaged very shoddily, barely folded into a piece of crinkled/used tissue paper and the dress was all wrinkled. for the sale price i am happy but i was surprised by the packaging.

What's up BR with the poor quality fabric??? Fabric is a huge disappointment. It feels cheap, isn't not breathable, and is uncomfortable to wear. Unfortunately, the material completely takes away from what could have been a beautiful dress. I expected much better quality.

Beautiful dress in a comfortable, lightweight fabric that fits true to size. My only complaint is that it is shorter on me at 5'9" but the tall was sold out and I didn't want to chance missing out on this dress like I did on the first drop!

Beautiful dress, a little disappointed about the quality. Would expect higher quality fabric specifically in the slip for an almost $350 dress. Otherwise it's beautiful and well made. Length is great, weight is great, pattern is very beautiful. I wasn't sure it would fit, I got the largest size (XXL)- I'm normally a Plus Size 2x (22-24). It's forgiving bc it's cut on a bias!

bananarepublic.gap.com/I purchased this in the green geo colorway. The print is muted but still vibrant and brings interest to this otherwise simple bias-cut dress. I'm 5'1 and the dress hits at about ankle length for me. The sleeves are on the longer side, but I prefer that. The bias-cut is a perfect compliment to an hourglass shape. I'd say it's true to size if you have an hourglass or pear shape, otherwise you'll likely need to size down.
