bananarepublic.gap.com/This is a nice concept, but the waist is more fitted than I can wear as a post 50 yo. Also, this doesn't feel like lightweight denim, the fabric is quite substantial and heavy. Good for trim figures or statuesque, curvy gals with a very defined waist.

I was looking forward to receiving these culottes but was disappointed with them once they arrived. The fabric was not as lightweight as expected and they were far too short. Picture shows they were midi length when actually they fell just below my knee (I am 5'7"). I also found the fit unflattering on me. Unfortunately, I returned them.

My HW culottes jeans arrived last week I couldn't be happier. As someone who is 6 feet tall with longer legs, I truly appreciate that Banana Republic offers tall lengths that actually fit properly—it makes such a difference. These are very soft denim and very cute. I can be anywhere between a 25 to 27 in jeans depending on the brand. I took a 25 in these. I chose the lighter wash but also liked the dark one. They have a slight grey color to them, not typical blue denim. The legs are pretty wide. I did not like the self-belt they came with; I plan to use one of my own. Highly recommend.
