I read the reviews and ordered one size smaller than usual (xs instead of s) and the dress fits perfectly! The fabric (cactus flower print) is beautiful and unique, I find the small "window" in the front not particularly problematic. So I'm keeping it (and the price on sale was really attractive) #sweepstakes

What a waste of money. I hope someone thinking of buying this final sale dress reads the reviews first. First, the waist in the dress is huge. I honestly thought the wrong size, by like 6 sizes, was sent to me. I ordered a Medium Tall and the waist is easily a 3 or 4 XL, no joke. The top fits like a Medium. It is the strangest most unflattering dress ever. So disappointed. I feel like Banana is just trying to recoup their money here by making this a final sale. This really put a bad taste in my mouth and has me questioning whether I will make a purchase here again.

The linen is soft and drapey. Runs true to size. As other reviews have mentioned, the keyhole cutout is shows way too much. The dress is long, so I cut off most of the hem and will use fabric from that to sew behind the cutout.

OMG! Dress arrived today, I tried it on and felt like Cinderella with her glass slipper. The fit was perfect, the flow was elegant, the fabric an exquisite European linen. I ordered the brown and now to order another. I am small-chested so perhaps as other reviewers commented, this helps in the fit to look refined and not exposed. I am 5'2" and the petite not available, yet the regular XXS works as a maxi dress. Thank you Banana Republic!

Becides receiving this stuffed into a bag very wrinkled, it is a thin linen and so enormous. I hurked the straps up so the key hole was higher shortening the dress considerably but the amount of fabric is absurb. i will have to totally redesign this because it is final sale. what a waste.

Wish I hadn't spent so much money on a final sale item that fit so poorly. Felt like the dress was cutting into my armpits, and couldn't even make it look decent with a cute bralette. Normally a bralette can make up for something that doesn't fit right, but there was no hope for this dress.

I wanted to love this dress, but the fit is not great. The chest area is very tight, and it is not suited for anyone with a fuller bust. The fall of the waist is also awkward, even though I ordered a petite. I also found the fabric too heavy and bulky, and not at all what I would expect for a breezy summer dress. Overall, for the price point, the fit and quality are not great. In person, it looks like any odd dress you can pick up at Old Navy (and no offence to Old Navy 😂, I love their stuff, but BR is supposed to be the premium sister brand).
