However there's no way to fit or alter as a petite, and no petite sizing is offered. Super bummed to be left out of this one!

bananarepublic.gap.com/I tried this dress and did like it initially, but thought it was a bit too pricey for what it is. fast forward a couple months and I see it on sale, but only in L, so I tried it on to see. it could just be that the size was too big, but it just didnt seem that flattering anymore... also, all my hisband could see where the giant back pockets - haha!- he couldnt get over their comical nature. In the end, I really didn't need one more casual black dress, especially not if i didnt truly love it, so it did not come home with me. I did like most of its features, though- maybe next time.

I ordered regular small. I'm 5'3". 145. I liked the length but forget I'm short waisted so the tie length wasn't ideal. Decided to return.

Oh, how I love this dress! Does run quite large and gaps a bit in the back at waist, but otherwise so very cute. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars due to the gap in the back.
