I ordered this and another dress online as your bricks and mortar stores rarely if ever have sizes XL and XXL available to try on. It arrived, and while I appreciate that the dress was supposed to be loose fitting, I could have fit 3 people in this dress. Additionally, I am not a short woman (5'10") and the hem was dragging on the ground, and it wasn't the tall dress size. The person designing the dress clearly had a 12 foot tall line backer in mind. Do better Banana Republic.

bananarepublic.gap.com/This dress is unique with smocking at the empire waist, sleeves, and back. I got the brown and downsized. I am having it hemmed shorter. Yes, it's full but not any more than other summer caftan style dresses. Add mesh flats and a basket purse. Be different!

I liked the way it looked straight on, but once I turned sideways, it was as if I had a team of little leaguers living under its volume. Well made, but the white cream is really CREAM cream and the black was out in my size. I had to return it because I am not looking for garments to add girth.
