The bust is really really tight.. too tight. I am normally a size medium on BR dresses but size 10 and 12 won't even zip up. The dress is heavy and lovely but I am not sure if the straps would last long since they're very thin

This is a great very wearable dress. Fit true to size (5'10" size 8). Comfortable forgiving fit. Pockets great to stash phone so no bag necessary. Could dress up or down.

BR seems to do this with their dresses a lot. I'm normally a 6 or an 8, but the chest is so tight (and I'm not huge), that I needed to go up to a 10, at which point the rest of the fit was off. I have several spaghetti strap dresses from here and it's always the same.

Really loved the material and color pattern of this dress. It's even more stunning on. I tried on one in the store that had some weird stitching around the bust and didn't lay right so make sure you check your dress. But the next one tried fit like a dream. Bought this in floral and received so many compliments. However was so disappointed in the quality as the straps arrived not sewn properly and looked likely to snap. I had to reinforce them myself which is sad for the cost. Seems to be a common issue with banana republic over recent years—wish they'd focus a bit more on quality!

I'm so tired of long or midi dresses, never see regular knee-length or short dresses with these kinds of beautiful fabrics and patterns. Please have options ofr people who are tired of seeing long dresses.

Con: I purchased this dress for an all white event. I was disappointed when I open the package and saw a khaki colored dress. The description said "cream white" this is far from white. Pro: I decided to try it on despite the color and fell in love with it. It is a beautiful dress. The fit is very flattering and the length is perfect for my 5"8' height. I purchased the size 12. I'm 170 pounds with a 36D cup. The dress is fitted in the bust, but a size 14 would be too big. I'm still undecided about whether I should keep it.

This dress is beautiful. The fabric and length are perfect for someone who is petite (5'2"). The colors are vibrant and true to description. However, it runs small in the chest—I'm wearing a size 2, and the chest area doesn't fit (B). I'm torn between keeping it and wearing it as a skirt or exchanging it for two sizes larger.

I usually buy a 4 regular in dresses even though I'm only 5 ft as I prefer longer length. The 4 regular grazed the floor with 3 1/2 inch heels. The chest area was a little too snug so I exchanged for a 6 petite. The chest on 6P is perfect. The length on the 6P is around my ankles and shows my shoes which looks fine. It's a gorgeous, well made dress and will get a lot of use.
