The vibe in person is much less polished. The dress is actually fairly cute if that is what you're looking for but it doesn't come out looking like the photos.

This dress is not white or ivory, more of a wheat colour and very heavy linen, not suitable for warm or hot weather. I am petite and the dress seems to be cut wrong, the skirt is very wide On line it looks great….not so much in person!

bananarepublic.gap.com/I'm usually an XL or L in anything from BR. Ordered an XL Tall and couldn't even get it over my shoulders. Tried an XXL and it technically went on, but looked more like a bodycon dress than how it looks on the model! If you have anything in the way of chest or curves, I would go with something else.

The dress looked pretty on the website. In reality the skirt part was huge disproportionately to the top. The sleeves were huge also. The linen is pretty thick. The embroidery is beautiful though. I wish the dress was slimmer.

This dress was better than I expected - the natural, off white color is perfect for what I wanted and for a linen dress this one is well structured and looks great on. I really like the length and the sleeve design. I can't wait for warmer weather so I can wear it.
