This sweater is much more cropped than what is pictured and the hem at the waist is "raw" and is curled. I would've concerned it will get even shorter with wear.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I was so excited when I took the item out of the packaging. It was a beautiful color and fabric felt great, but once I tried it on I was so disappointed with the fit! Because this sweater lacks structure, I ended up looking like a line-backer (I have a pear-shaped body). The sleeves were too wide and cuff on the sleeve is too long. I agree with a reviewer below that if BR gave it a band at the bottom of the sweater and maybe made the cuffing on the sleeves shorter (like a true crewneck) then it may have been a better, less bulky fit. I almost still considered keeping because of the color but for the price I couldn't keep something I half-liked.
