Hands-down the most versatile, interesting, beautiful and comfortable pants I've added to my closet in a long, long time. The wrap is elegant and adds interest. The fabric is light-feeling, yet substantial. I bought a regular-length pair to wear with flats and the petite version to wear with heels, ...and my GOD, they are stunning. I don't understand the confusion about how to wear these, as they are a straightforward belted wrap-front pant, but once you figure it out, you will LOVE them. I took a star off because both pairs arrived simply reeking of mildew, and while it was a disappointment, they're washable (thank goodness). BUY THESE PANTS! You will not be disappointed. Okay, off my soapbox now, and on my way to purchase the white pair.
I loved the style until I put the pants on than it was nothing like the picture . You have to be 5.9 or taller to fit like the model,I figured out the waist tie thing but it was wide the one leg fabric bunches up inseem very low almost to my knees I had to pull them up all the way but still couldn'...t work with them .! they look horrible on a petite person like I was wearing a parachute in each leg . Returned them not my thing wouldn;t wear them anywhere anyway

bananarepublic.gap.com/I dont know if these restocked and are cut differently now than when the initial reviews and photos were taken, but these are SMALL. I typically take the same size as the model and the XS is nowhere near close to fitting like the photos. They are puddling on the floor on a model I assume is taller than me at 5'8 and the regular inseam is under 30" which makes them ankle length on me. I should have read the dimensions because it would have been clear that i needed a tall size but i just defaulted to the size they said was on the model since they were so oversized. They are cute, if very prone to wrinkling but i don't think they give the look like in the photos. If you are over 5'8, I would not buy the regular length in black at least, for sure.

bananarepublic.gap.com/These have quickly become my favorite pair of pants in my closet. The rayon and linen blend is beautiful. The rayon gives the fabric a soft, fluid drape while the linen provides just enough structure for the wrap design to hold its shape. They arrived with some wrinkles from shipping, but a quick steam brought them back to life. I appreciate that they have movement without feeling stiff. The wrap detail looks more complicated than it actually is. Once the pants are on, you simply bring the extra fabric from the left side across to the right and tie the attached belt to secure the waist. After doing it a couple of times, it only takes a few seconds. One thing I would note is sizing. I initially ordered a Medium and later tried a Large. While the Medium technically fit, the Large allowed the wrap panel to overlap and drape the way it was clearly designed to. If you have fuller hips or are between sizes, I'd recommend trying the larger size so you can experience the full effect of the wrap detail. These pants are incredibly comfortable to wear, and the dramatic wide leg silhouette creates beautiful movement when walking. They feel elegant and thoughtfully designed. I can already tell these will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come.

great addition to my closet. Fabric combination of viscose and linen, makes the pants wrinkle less and subtle shine of fabric makes it more dressier. Usually buy a large, but medium fit perfectly.

The perfect drape and leg width … better than I hoped. Need to stay on top of the ironing with the tie. But worth it! My new favourite pants

I do agree it's a bit complicated to figure out, but because I'd read all the previous reviews, I knew what to expect. I suggest putting the front together first, pinning it, then putting it on. The material is heavy and good quality. I wouldn't say there's too much material, because it's part of the style, that's what allows the front flap to flow, or fall into place.

I really wanted to love these pants. They arrived in a regular BR bag and smelled strongly of food. I tried them, the waist was fine, the issue was the fold on the left side pulled in a way that was the opposite of flattering. Unfortunately, while the fabric drapes beautifully, these are not for me.

The pants/palazzo fall beautifully. Because they came with the ties properly set up it was no problem to understand how they work. This is very comfortable and looks outstanding with casual and less casual tops. A big keeper. AND they work for tall women, I am 5'10" and curvy hourglass figure. I may get them in another colour - I purchased black.
