I love these linen shirts for the summer. I've got several colours so I can wear one almost every day and I do! They cover my arms and keep me cool. Hang to dry and a quick iron- easy.
The linen is on the thinner side and the seam construction is very poor. Supposed to have a shirt-tail hem but it's straight across the front with only a very small curve at the side seam. No petite sizes, so at 5'6" with an hourglass shape, the straight hem hits at my widest hip - unflattering. Nee...ded a white linen shirt for an event so I had to keep it. Shrinks a lot in the wash (cold wash, medium dry). Discouraged me from trying other BR linen. Better value elsewhere.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I gave two stars instead of one because the linen fabric is smooth, high quality, and beautiful with flat, well-constructed seams and matching buttons. However, the brownstone colorway is not accurately represented. I was hopeful that brownstone was going to be the cool tone brown / black that it appears to be in the photos online. But it is a dark brown with a warm olive green undertone. This undertone really washes me out as a cool winter and would better suit a warm autumn color pallet. I plan to return it. I also usually wear an L or XL. I bought an XL but should have sized down.

Love the quality of the linen. feels soft even before washing. I purchased more than one of the everyday linen shirts. i have purchased both XXS and XS. For ref, I am 5'1 about 102 pounds. One is more fitted than the other of course, but I like them both. The last one I purchased was the yellow stripe, which i like a lot. The yellow is not as yellow as I thought it would be. Almost has a light green cast to it. Nevertheless, these are great shirts. Love them in the spring,summer, fall. And a great deal when they are on sale. Linen is a much nicer quality than those at the Gap.

My only complaint is that there are no petite sizes. The sleeves are very long. Im only 5'2. Otherwise, the shirt runs true to size.
