I'm getting sad at the number of pants I've had to return lately. The really sad part is that and wide leg pants should be especially long in order to look elegant otherwise you look like a clown. I'm not sure why Banana Republic is making all their tall sizes short. I bought the linen ones last year and they're beautiful because they're long. If regular size people are buying them maybe you should make everything slightly longer in regular and tall and shorten your petite. I'm tired of women complaining about things being too long just hem them and be happy. Tall women don't get to do that. We just simply can't buy them.

I purchased these pants several months ago and have only worn them about three times, with very light use. Unfortunately, the fabric quality has been really disappointing. The material creases heavily when you sit down; not minor wrinkles, but large, deep creases across the upper thigh area that do not relax back out. That alone makes them difficult to wear for normal daily use, travel, or long workdays. I've also noticed the fabric is already starting to fray and get fuzzy from minimal rubbing and movement. For the price point, I expected these to hold their structure and finish much better than this. I originally planned to use these as part of my capsule wardrobe at home and for a month-long trip to Italy, but based on how quickly they're showing wear, I don't trust them to hold up. I usually have great experiences with Banana Republic pieces, but this one missed the mark. I'm also relieved I didn't purchase a second pair in another color like I planned. Very disappointing, especially given the cost.

These pants are beautiful on and so unique. They remind me of a classic 1940s look. I like that they are thicker material for the colder months but I only gave 4 stars because I washed them in cold water on delicate and hung them to dry and they were ruined. Definitely dry clean only.

A bit too long with this type and color of material. Can't wear with flats or the bottom will get roughed up and stained. But I still love the general cut and fabric. Will take it in a bit.

I am 5'8" and about 153 lbs and I got a size 10 and they fit perfectly! I am usually a size 6 or 8, tried those sizes and too small at the waist. Love these pants, no liner but thick enough of material so not a problem.

I wish I read the comments. Wore the white ones last night and they snagged on everything and are impossible to sit in without wrinkling and are all frayed at the bottom after one wear. I am outside of the return window so I guess these are going in the trash.

The pants have a stylish look, but the material is really poor. After wearing them just once, the bottom edges started to fray and the fabric fibers became visible. I do not recommend them at all.

I love the weight of these. I love the material. I love the fit. However they're too short so I will return. I have the linen pair from last year and they touch the floor. These are an inch or two above my ankle and I ordered size tall. I am 6'0 and BR size 6 tall always fits so perhaps they are meant to be short?
